Vainu Bappu Observatory is the Indian Institute of Astrophysics observatory at Kavalur, in the Javadi Hills near Yelagiri. A visit needs permission.
Easy Stays Yelagiri on Kottur Road does not arrange that permission and does not run the observatory. It is separate from Telescope House on the Yelagiri ghat road.
