Telescope House is a viewpoint on the Yelagiri ghat road, looked after by the Forest Department, with a view of the plains.
It is separate from the Vainu Bappu Observatory at Kavalur. Easy Stays Yelagiri on Kottur Road does not run the viewpoint.
